Introducing FeeDirect - the financial product that enables you to have your fees deducted from the clients’ tax return while earning substantial incentive revenue. No more out-of-pocket costs for your clients. No more hassles with check printing. Refunds are deposited either to the taxpayer's bank account or to an up2U Visa® Prepaid Card. Tax preparers earn up to $20 incentives on each approved product based on volume.

How it works

  • - All tax preparation and other fees are automatically deducted from the tax payer’s refund and deposited into the appropriate parties bank accounts.
  • - The remainder of the taxpayer’s refund is deposited into the taxpayer's bank account or onto an instant issue up2U Visa Prepaid Card.
  • - The card is registered to the tax payer through the software and is given to the client by the ERO during the tax interview.
  • - Funds are available when the IRS and State issue the refund, typically within 8 to 15 days from the e-file acknowledgment date.

ERO Participation Program

  • - Enroll in FeeDirect through the TaxWorks/1040Works E-File Center in the Financial Products tab.
  • - No limit to the number of EROs who can participate.
  • - Card stock will be shipped directly to the EROs locations.
  • - Alternative for traditional bank product program.
  • - An incentive of up to $20 for each FeeDirect card activated will be paid by RedGear to the ERO based on volume. Call for details.
