As federal and state mandates require more practitioners to file returns electronically, our free electronic filing program assisted as more of you file returns electronically. This past tax season saw an increase of 59 percent over last year for the total federal returns filed electronically. Before year’s end, we will see over 1.4 million federal returns filed using TaxWorks and 1040Works.
