Free E-Filing Generates Big Numbers
TaxWorks FREE electronic filing resulted in big numbers!
As federal and state mandates require more practitioners to file returns electronically, our free electronic filing program assisted as more of you file returns electronically.
This past tax season saw an increase of 59 percent over last year for the total federal returns filed electronically. Before year’s end, we will see over 1.4 million federal returns filed using TaxWorks and 1040Works.
State electronic filing surged to a 46 percent increase, and bank products more than doubled with an increase of 114 percent.
WHAT'S NEW IN THE 2008 VERSION OF TAXWORKS?
TaxWorks is excited to announce the following enhancements for our 2008 professional tax software program:
• In 2008, we will be optimizing our Client Selection screen; simply a long term to explain that it will run more efficiently and much faster.
• We are adding automatic upgrades so each time you log onto our website, we’ll automatically add the most current features and updates to keep your program up to date.
• Along with the two critical items listed above, we’re enhancing our “Revision’s History.” This area, located in the Secure Area of our website, details each update to the program; how and what that update affected the program, and the date it was added to your program.
